THE NAME

Butlers were once said to wear their employers’ new garments to help soften the fabric. For those who don’t want to wait for their denim to age naturally, A.P.C.’s Butler program, inspired by that tradition, puts previously worn jeans back into circulation, each pair valued for the beauty of its patina.

THE PATINA

A.P.C. jeans from the Butler program fully reveal their patina. Dyed with indigo and woven with single-twist yarns, A.P.C. denim A.P.C. denim marks naturally through extended wear.  Each piece takes on a character of its own.
