DENIM FIT GUIDE MEN

NEW STANDARD
The New Standard is the A.P.C. jean: mid-rise, straight leg, full length, ready for anything. It works equally well with a classic shirt or an oversized sweatshirt, depending on the time of day and the mood.
- Mid rise
- Straight fit
- Full length

PETIT NEW STANDARD
More fitted than the New Standard, the Petit New Standard follows the leg from top to bottom in a slim cut that remains easy to wear. It runs small, so sizing up is generally recommended. Works equally well with sneakers or boots.
- Low rise
- Slim fit
- Standard length

RESCUE
A reissue of an early-2000s style, the Rescue is slightly roomier than the New Standard, with a relaxed silhouette that manages to feel quietly current. It works well worn low on the hips, with sneakers or chunky-soled boots.
- Mid rise
- Straight fit
- Full length

AARON
The Aaron is the highest-rise men's style in the A.P.C. lineup. Its straight, roomy leg gives it a decisively fashion-forward look — somewhere between 1980s Japan and the contemporary wardrobe. Best balanced with something fitted on top.
- High rise
- Wide fit
- Full length

FAIRFAX
Low-rise with a baggy leg that breaks over the shoe, the Fairfax has a skater spirit without trying too hard. Sizing up accentuates the drape and pushes the silhouette toward something freer, almost early-2000s.
- Mid rise
- Wide fit
- Full length

MARTIN
With its high rise and straight leg that tapers slightly toward the hem, the Martin recalls late-'80s denim without leaning too hard into nostalgia. Its close fit and cropped length make it a particularly strong choice for athletic builds.
- Mid rise
- Tapered fit
- Cropped length
